After yesterday's heat drama, today was a short walk along the river Minho up to Ribadavia under a cloudy sky. Much easier walking weather.

After the wild and rocky landscape of a couple of days ago, today's contrast could not be greater as one walked alongside the water and vineyards.

I wanted a short day as Ribadavia looked particularly interesting.

The video I had seen about the town weren't wrong.

Ribadavia is not on many tourist routes but was well worth spending time in. Particularly helpful was a chemist who sold me some combined magnesium and potassium tablets to fight the cramp in my left leg which had been bothering me since just after Lobios. Dinner was at a restaurant near San Madalena which did the most amazing pulpo. Same pulpo and potato on a wooden plate idea but with melted tetilla cheese. Absolutely delicious.
